At Oakley’s we specialise in pizzas and pastas, with char-grilled steaks, other meats and fish specials, and we are committed to affordable family food using local produce as much as we can.
This family-run restaurant is owned by Jamie Oakley and John Cox, his father in law, and run by Head Chef Jamie. We only opened the restaurant in May 2009, but have many years of experience.
Jamie alone has more than 18 years’ experience in the restaurant industry, including gaining a wealth of priceless knowledge working under two Michelin-Star chefs earlier in his career – Yves Thuries in his Le Grand Ecuyer restaurant in the South of France and celebrity chef Anton Mossiman at Mossiman’s in London.
Known as the “place where locals meet to eat”, Oakley’s friendly, family atmosphere and seasoned staff makes everyone feel right at home. We offer a relaxed, friendly enjoyable service and strive to ensure a delicious meal.
Then, of course, there’s the food…We make everything fresh from scratch daily from our own fresh pizza dough to our 100% beef burgers fresh everyday and use only top-quality ingredients in our recipes. We have built up some fantastic relationships with some of the greatest food suppliers in our area where it is not just about the cost its about the quality ensuring a consistent meal every time you dine with us. Our great food is one of our assets, but it is truly our dedicated staff ”our extended family” that keeps customers coming back!
